We went with Mister Pardi from West Java to East Java and Bali. He knows the best places to visit in Java and he can tell you a lot of background about some beautifull places in Indonesia. “We booked Mr Pardi in advance from Belgium and we have no complains whatsoever. No need for an all-in arranged tour through an external travel agency. Pardi takes you where ever you want and also arranges all the excursions to eg. Bromo and Ijen.
Our driver Kamto took us from Jakarta all the way to Jatiliuweh during 10 days. The driver’s knowledge of the country is amazing. In advance we had a specific route in mind but the Kamto was flexible enough to make adjustments here and there – some at his own suggestion.
In Yogya, Mr Pardi accompanied us during a bicycle tour in a neighboring kampung – where we received a very warm welcome. In addition, we also took cooking class: Kamto took us to the vegetable market and then we were cooking at the house of mr Pardi.

“We had asked Pardi to organise part of our trip
Our Dutch speaking driver Kamto picked us up in Ujung Kulon. We still had to pay for our stay there, but there was no ATM anywhere to be found. After Kamto had consulted with Pardi, Pardi lend us the money and transferred the amount to the hotel. Super neatly arranged.
Kamto speaks excellent Dutch but you shouldn’t make it too complicated. He told us intersesting things about the various plantations that we came across. We had a great trip! Which you can easily let Pardi organise for you. Because of Pardi we also saw things that we would have missed otherwise, such as a music performance in Bandung and a dance performance in Yogyakarta.”

My question to Pardi was whether he could arrange two wheelchairs so my family members didn’t have to walk too far. Experienced and calmly through the hectic Indonesian traffic
“I was on holiday in Yogya for two weeks and in this period I used the services of Mr. Pardi a lot. Fortunately I made this choice, because of his services I had a great time. Before arrival I had indicated my wishes. For example, I wanted a driver who could also speaks Javanese, because I want to learn to speak that language. This could have been Mr. Pardi, because he speaks Javanese very well himself, but he didn’t have the time and so he arranged another excellent Javanese speaking driver.
This was Mr. Sulis. His name should certainly be mentioned here! He is such an experienced driver that even in the hectic Indonesian traffic he can calmly and meticulously conversate with me in the Javanese language. Unbelievable. And he always knew the short-cuts to avoid the traffic jam. He knows where to find the best food and was always waiting ready-to-leave in front of the hotel while I still enjoyed my breakfast of fried rice.
Another wish of mine was to cycle around in the area. Mr. Pardi also knew how to handle that wish. On the agreed day he pick up me up with two beautiful mountain bikes complete with helmets on the back of his car. Yes.. two…. I would rather not bike alone: in Indonesia there are no traffic signs on every street corner…
So we biked later that day the hills South of Yogyakarta, probably an attraction that the villagers are still talking about today. Perhaps more because of Mr. Pardi on his bike, than because of me ?
I also really wanted to see the old city (in Indonesian “kota lama”) of Semarang. It is quite a drive from Yogya, but for “my” driver it was no problem. On arrival “my” driver arranged a local guide who could tell me everything about the old colonial buildings during a city walk and afterwards of course he knew where to eat the tastiest soto!
In short: whatever you dream, Mr. Pardi and his team ensure that “your dreams come true”.

“This summer (2018) we had a wonderful trip with Indonesiatour. We never traveled with a private driver before, but we gave it a try – and now we love it! It is a combination of luxury and freedom. And: it is the only way to see the real Indonesia.

“In June 2018 we made a trip of 14 days on Central- and West-Java. Dadang Supardi (Pardi) was our driver. It was the 10th time during the last 25 years that we visited Indonesia as a couple. So we had already many times for several weeks a personal driver. In general our experiences with our drivers were good. But Pardi is very good. So relaxed, serious, friendly and clever. Flexible on one hand and on the other hand clear in what is possible and what is not possible. He has a very good feeling for service but is not submissive.
He speaks good English, so it was possible to talk a lot about the life in Indonesia and the way the country is changing. In that way we learned a lot of him. In fact he is more than a driver.
His mood is very stable and he has a good feeling for humour. He is really a very gentle and nice man without fuss.
Looking back we can say: he is our best driver in the last 25 years. If we have the chance in the future to travel again with him, sure we will do that.”

Reliable, friendly and protective
“Me and my wife have been with Mr. Dadang in Yoyakarta (three days) and everything was fine. He was really helpful, when – at the arrival – we were out of cash due to a withdrawal problem with my Card. He even anticipated the money we needed for our first small expenses. Punctual as a Swiss watch… Safe but smart with its drive-style. When still inYoyakarta, we asked him to arrange a visit to Mt Bromo: 1) car & driver pick up in Surabaya Airport 2) switch to a 4wd jeep in Cemoro Lawang 3) drop off in Malang. Every segment has been perfectly combined. Mr Dadang was able to successfully connect with his correspondents. Actually, we met him just in Yoyakarta but …we “felt” his presence/surveillance in Bromo and also in Ubud (Bali), the third segment of our vacation. Another guy, another car, but everything sounds like we had just one service counterpart. WhatsApp did the rest. Small program adjustments were easily negotiated. What about the payment? No surprises at all.
Please consider on TripAdvisor, I’ve rank-ticked only “four dots” (not five) just to avoid not being believed (sorry Mr Dadang). In fact he was excellent!”

Together with Pardi we have filled in our itinerary: with a luxurious and always clean car from Bogor to Yogyakarta in ten days, with a lot of interesting stops. “We went on holiday to Lombok, Bali and Java for ten days. A friend told us about Pardi en we got in touch through Whatsapp. We discussed our plans with him and he gave us some good suggestions. He arranged a local guide and negotiated the price for us. We soon learned that he knows his way and the people and the places to be, in Java. He brought us where we wanted, when we wanted to. “How we enjoyed our holiday in Indonesia! For three weeks we have been in this beautiful country. The last 10 days of which, Pardi drove us from Bali (Ubud) to Java (Yogyakarta). Pardi is not only a very good driver, but he was our guide, organizer and great support.
Through the mail we had received an itinerary with the accompanying sights and activities.
