“In the preparations for our family trip from Jakarta to Lovina we had good email contact with Tika from Dadang Supardi. We planned our own travel schedule and Dadang Supardi arranged transportation and drivers. The train tickets from Bandung to Yogyakarta and the boat tickets to Bali were also perfectly arranged! We had 2 great drivers!
Rocky (Mr. Rohmani) also speaks good Dutch and we really liked that he was also our interpreter. He helped us tremendously with finding family places in Jakarta.! He drove us from Jakarta to Bandung.

In Yogyakarta the bike ride through the rice fields and the cooking workshop of Mrs. Dwi Supardi were unforgettable!
We were in the middle of the Merdeka festival week and the main roads were sometimes closed due to various parades. We then went “off the main road”, via country roads… because of that driver Rizal gave us the most beautiful “sightseeing” from Yogyakarta to Lovina (Bali) So wonderful to travel like this across Java! Thank you for the great experience at Madikaripura waterfall and the sunrise at Bromo!

Fantastic round trip on Java

“We, a family of 4, had decided to go on holiday to Indonesia in 2024. We wanted to visit the islands of Java and Bali. Because it was not recommended to drive in the chaotic traffic ourselves, we started looking for a car with a driver. That’s how we ended up on the Pardi website. Because we had already drawn up a travel schedule ourselves, we submitted it to Pardi. After some minor adjustments, our tour of Java was ready.

“Already contacted Pardi from the Netherlands because we were looking for a driver in Java. We had put together a full and somewhat stubborn program ourselves. Wonderful tour through Java to Bali

Really great service and communication

“All praise for your organization. At first I had booked for a few days at Yogyakarta.tours from the Netherlands but in the end we traveled with our driver Iwan for more than a week all over Java. After Iwan also Kamto was our driver for a day and eventually Pardi brought us from Kalibaru to Lovina (Bali) (for which he had to make a night train journey from Yogyakarta to be able to serve us). During our trip, often at the last minute, I came up with a plan and Pardi met us in everything. The service and communication (often via Whatsapp) was really great.

Special thanks for our driver Iwan! He was a very pleasant company, very affable, well-informed but above all (not unimportant) blessed with a good sense of humour. “Solid as a rock
We planned our trip through e-mail and WhatsApp with Pardi. He was very helpful in determining the itinerary and also helped us finding the right hotels (not all of the are on booking.com). It was a pleasure preparing with Pardi and the suggestions he did were different and more unique from what we received from others. We travelled from Yogja to Ubud.
Once arrived in Indonesia we met our driver Kamto in our first hotel. He was always extremely punctual and correct, which was highly appreciated. Overall Kamto was a very pleasant and friendly person. He was always calm and helped us to resolve the unavoidable problems. For instance at some point we had no option to have dinner anymore and he ordered it for us and made it magically appear in our remote hotel. He also helped us retrieve something we forgot in our hotel. He knew a lot about the culture, the mountains, trees, schools, religion and Indonesia in general. He was a good and careful defensive driver and always kept our van very clean.
Overall Pardi and Kamto made our trip through Java a great success.

“We easily arranged our tour with Mr. Pardi through his website, which took place in August 2019. Mr. Unggul was our driver for 10 days, going from Jakarta to Surabaya. He is punctual and a very trained driver too. His suggestions for our tour were very helpful. Everything was arranged well, including the entrance tickets and bottled water. Clean car.

“The ideal guide: reliable and listens to the customer
Via Indonesia tour we were picked up by driver J. from the airport in Jakarta. We noticed that the driver drove well and knew the road well. His English, however, was poor, so he was unable to provide much information. We lost confidence in the driver after a few incidents in which he negotiated prices that were to our disadvantage. We contacted Pardi.
Pardi took us very seriously and arranged a meeting in Jogja. When he heard our story, he told us that the driver was driving for him for the first time and that he felt bad that things were not going well. He then offered to guide our journey himself. We were immediately confident that it would be fine and indeed the continuation of our trip was fantastic. Pardi is a good driver, has enormous knowledge of the country (history, social issues, plants, etc.), speaks excellent English, thinks along, arranges everything and has humor, He gives space for flexibility. The ideal guide.
Because Pardi, as it were, replaced the first driver, he had to arrange other drivers twice in Jogja. In both cases, communicative drivers who brought us from A to B quickly and safely. “We had 4 nights in Central Java arriving via Yogyakarta. I found Pardi via a TripAdvisor recommendation and emailed him the rough itinerary of what we wanted to do. We needed a good flexible driver who could take us to the requested sites and we definitely found the best company. Pardi responded promptly and had it all organised quickly at a reasonable cost.

He was busy driving another customer when we were in Indonesia so we had another driver, Unggul, who I can highly recommend. He was punctual, courteous, funny, spoke perfect English, drove safely and happily accomodated our minor changes in programming. He was able to provide lots of information on where we were going and Indonesia in general. He went out of his way to make sure everything was just right and as we wanted it. He organised ticket entries, guides and meals at local lunch spots. A parting Indonesian gift was a lovely surprise.
Just to let you know our itinerary: We had 2 nights in Boroburdur at Rumah Dama hotel, 2 in Yogyakarta at Gallery Prawiromatan hotel. We did Boroburdur at sunrise, Candirejo village, Parwon & Mendut temples, Setumbu lookout sunrise ( 2nd day), Mt Merapi Jeep tour, Prambanan temple, Plaiosan temple, Ramayana ballet, Jomblang cave, painful river tubing, sultan palace, water palace & bird market. We could not have done all this in 4 days and smoothly without Unggul who was an absolutely perfect driver and a pleasure to drive with. We hope to return to Java again sometime and will request Unggul again ( or Pardi who we didn’t meet but runs a great tour company) . A pleasure to deal with you both.”

“We, a group of 4 Austrians, did a 9-day trip from Yogyakarta to Ubud at the end of November 2018. Our driver was Unggul – a quite well-experienced, perfectly English-speaking and extremely sympathetic guy who lives with his family in Yogyakarta. It was obvious that Unggul did similar tours already numerous times in the past – his knowledge about the country and the people was amazing, no matter what we were asking, he always had some interesting stories to tell. He was extremely obliging, always offered to negotiate with local guides (e.g., at Mt. Ijen or at the Madakaripura Waterfall) in order to arrange everything for our convenience. Not to forget some “hidden” places he showed us where definitely no other tourists would stumble upon (e.g., the unforgettable family-run coffee farm in the Kabupaten Banyuwangi area) as well as the local snacks he bought each day to share with us while driving.
All in all, the 9 days traveling with Unggul were extremely enjoyable, not least also because of his fine sense of humor, his timeliness and his safe driving style – maybe the most important quality in Indonesia’s partly chaotic traffic situations.
